Event Overview
“Diskusi Teknis Pembahasan Peran Data Penginderaan Jauh dan SIG dalam Pengukuran Indikator SDGs” was held on 28 October 2021 as part of the PPKS research program. The session focused on exploring the capabilities and limitations of remote sensing (RS) and GIS data in measuring SDGs indicators across economic, environmental, and social pillars. The event was conducted in a hybrid format, combining on‑site discussions in the faculty hall with remote participation via Zoom.
Role & Responsibilities
- Live streaming operator and camera director
- Managing dual‑camera setup to capture both the speaker and discussion table
- Handling OBS scene switching between camera feeds, presentation slides, and Zoom participants
- Monitoring audio clarity for technical discussions and Q&A sessions
- Ensuring stable hybrid communication between on‑site researchers and remote participants

Solutions & Execution
- Structured OBS scenes for speaker view, discussion table, slide presentation, and mixed view
- Optimized camera placement to capture both the presenter and the collaborative discussion area
- Adjusted audio mixer levels to ensure clarity during technical explanations and Q&A
- Used double‑monitor setup to track Zoom participants and maintain smooth transitions
- Coordinated with the research team to anticipate slide changes and discussion flow
Outcome
The hybrid discussion ran smoothly with clear audio and stable video delivery. The dual‑camera setup and refined OBS workflow supported an effective exchange of technical insights between on‑site and remote participants. Despite limited documentation, the event demonstrated FTIP’s growing capability in managing hybrid academic discussions with more advanced technical requirements.
