Project Background
This project involved supporting a hybrid webinar–podcast session hosted by FTIP UNPAD (Fakultas Teknologi Industri Pertanian) in collaboration with PT. Cheil Jedang Indonesia. The event combined an educational seminar with a live conversational podcast format, connecting onsite speakers with remote participants through Zoom. My role was to ensure a smooth hybrid broadcast experience that maintained clarity, stability, and engagement throughout the session.

- Managing hybrid broadcast operations for a live educational webinar
- Operating ATEM Switcher for multi‑source visual management
- Handling OBS Studio as the main encoding and monitoring hub
- Integrating wireless camera systems for flexible venue coverage
- Ensuring stable audio routing for both onsite and remote participants
- Supporting the production team in maintaining a podcast‑style flow

Challenge
Balancing a seminar format with a podcast‑style discussion while maintaining stable hybrid communication.
Solution
Optimized camera placement and wireless transmission for natural conversation flow, adjusted audio routing to prioritize clarity, and used OBS scene management to switch smoothly between presentation and podcast segments.
Final Impact
The hybrid webinar–podcast session was delivered successfully with 276 participants joining through the Zoom platform and a total runtime of 146 minutes, all executed without technical interruptions. The stable workflow, clear audio routing, and seamless integration between onsite speakers and remote attendees ensured that the educational content was delivered with high clarity and engagement. This project demonstrates my capability to manage large‑scale hybrid academic events with precise technical execution and consistent broadcast quality.
Technical Execution & Workflow
- Coordinated with FTIP UNPAD and CJ BIO regarding technical requirements
- Prepared ATEM Switcher, OBS Studio, and Hollyland wireless camera systems
- Conducted audio tests for podcast microphones and venue mixer
- Set up Zoom integration for remote participants
Production
- Operated ATEM Switcher to manage camera angles, presentation slides, and speaker close‑ups
- Used Hollyland Wireless Video to allow flexible camera movement around the discussion table
- Monitored encoding and visual consistency through OBS Studio
- Managed audio mixer integration to ensure clear, echo‑free communication
- Supported the host in maintaining smooth transitions between segments
