Urban youth are encouraged to rethink food production in their own communities through the Tani Bestari urban farming training program. This initiative, started by Seni Tani—a youth-run social enterprise in Bandung—utilizes regenerative and organic methods to transform vacant urban land into fruitful food gardens.

The Challenge: Connecting Urban Farmers Digitally
The mission was introduced in the inaugural webinar, “Tani Bestari: Urgensi Pemuda Kota menjadi Petani Kota”. Our primary challenge was to broadcast this vital message professionally, ensuring that the urgency of local food resilience reached the audience without any technical hitches.
The Technical Solution
I implemented a multi-scene setup in OBS Studio that allowed smooth transitions between the speakers’ presentations and live Q&A sessions. By using the ATEM Mini, I ensured crystal-clear camera inputs so that the passion of the speakers was visible to every participant.

Managed complex scene transitions in OBS Studio, integrating remote speakers via Zoom with local camera feeds seamlessly.
Hardware Setup
Utilized the Blackmagic ATEM Mini as a hardware switcher to handle smooth cuts between host cameras and presentation slides.
Audio Precision
Routed studio-quality sound through a professional audio mixe for high-fidelity capture.
Signal Distribution
Broadcasted at a stable 6000 kbps bitrate, maintaining 1080p Full HD resolution for a professional YouTube Live experience. To prevent any broadcast interruptions, utilized a dedicated portable Wi-Fi router as a redundant connection point.
